Coastal Garden Weddings
Garden, cozy intimate feeling with lots of charm.
There is special warmth about a house or garden wedding. The reception can be as formal or informal as you wish. A Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place to host this kind of wedding. Bed and Breakfasts that do weddings are usually well suited for this kind of event if your own house is not. Lodging is also a plus to having a garden wedding at a bed and breakfast. Your guests can stay the night and not have to worry about driving home after a long night of dancing and partying.

Garden Weddings Have Almost Limitless Theme Possibilities
Let Nature Be Your Guide!
- Decorate tall trees with lights.
- Hand-write place cards, then tie them with a ribbon and hang from the trees for the guests to pick.
- Set up a birdbath. Have guests make special wishes for you and your spouse by throwing pennies or flower petals into the birdbath.
- Using a favorite theme, give each table a name. EX: Butterfly, Dragonfly, Lightning Bug, Lady Bug, etc.
- Large mason jars filled with sand and tea lights make great additions to tables or pathways. They can even be wrapped in heavy wire and hung from trees.
- Lollipop Centerpiece. Loosely group four or five old-fashioned spiral lollipops in a mason jar.
- Have a tower of white-frosted cupcakes topped off with a symbol of the couple or their love, personalized. Add a cocktail hour vibe if you like
You can theme your reception traditionally or with things uniquely original to you!
